I am new to Diesel, as in my first one. 2003 2500HD LB7 Duramax. I got it with a broken push rod which I was able to repair. Pretty much the same as a gas engine, only harder to get to it. Got it running and driving and then it started going into limp or safe mod. I thought it was electrical (due to history) and I was at my wits end. Dropped it off at Dana Bros un-announced on a Sunday evening. They worked me into their schedule, got it diagnosed as 1 completely bad injector. So bad it was shutting down the other 3 injector on the same bank. The rest of the injectors where diagnosed as working, but not correctly. 8 new injectors and injector cups (because the cups were not installed correctly by the last guy) and few other issues cause by the last guy, they got me back on the road. It runs like they put a whole new motor in it. They definitely know what they are doing. Especially Steve the Tech that worked on my truck. Price? My knee jerk reaction is they are not cheap. But I have learned you get what you pay for... and let me add this. My prospective of what it did cost or I think it should cost is quite possibly way off. It has been decades, maybe 3 decades, since I paid someone else to work on one of my vehicles. I think things have gone up a bit since then. I should also tell you, I have been back a second time for some more assistance. Do I recommend them as a knowledgeable and competent shop? YES! Kevin K Queen Creek
